I want to celebrate his freedom from pain, and his life long love of early Thunderbirds. I’ll start by posting a pic of his 56, he never got that last ride. All I needed was a couple more days to sort out the brakes. RIP Daddy.
Post some Thunderbirds or classic Fords in his honor.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish there was more I could say, but I do agree that it’s good to focus on the fact that he’s free from pain. Definitely treat that car well for him. I’m sure he’d want you to finish it up and take it for a cruise in his honor.

Fuck, I’m sorry for you man. Lost my dad in ‘05 after decades of deteriorating health due to diabetes. Lost mom 2 years ago this weekend to an extremely aggressive cancer.
Not. Easy.
You know we'll be here for you if you need us, not that it'll help much if I'm honest, but we've got ya.

Oh my God, this has me just about in tears. My parents are getting pretty on, and I still can’t face even the thought of losing either of them. I don’t want to even imagine how you must feel. God speed to your dad, and my sympathies to you and yours.

I suppose it's little consolation that he's at peace now. RIP.

My condolences to you and your family. I lost my mom last year, so I know the pain. Rest easy knowing that the pain from the loss will ease and the memories will continue to get sweeter. Remember the good times.

I am so sorry for your loss. I’m glad he’s free from pain, and I hope you can get the car sorted and back out on the road in his honor. He had great taste in cars. That's a beautiful Thunderbird.

Sorry to hear he passed. Even when you know it is coming, it is hard to see a parent pass. Drive the T-Bird in honour of his memory.

Damn, I’m so sorry brother . Losing one is hard enough, but 2 in that time frame is just terrible. Please find peace that they are together and will be ready to welcome you when it's time to see them again.

September 2015 my brother died after a six year battle with cancer, he was 54. January 2016 my dad unexpectedly passed away from a heart attack, a week after his funeral I was laid off due to being “unreliable” cuz I had to keep flying home and taking time off work. Bad things happen in threes and f ro m what I can tell all’s well now, you never really get over the loss though.

That’s rough! I'm sorry man. I’ve had a bad stretch lately. BIL commited suicide, d ivorce, watched my mom batrle lu ng cancer, and now this. I’m hoping you’re right, and we’re good for a while. I sure hope one day I’ll have some really good years to balance out the last three. If this is how life is going to continue to be, then I’m ready to go now.
